Javascript Tree Menu. Expandable Menu.

  • There can be as many submenus as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window.

Q: I'm trying deluxe-menu, but when I'm making my own menu, I often get error messages.
It will not work. I get these messages when I use individual styles.It is a very nice program, but I think with a few bugs.


A: You have errors in your data file.

In this items you assigned menu styles, but there is no menu style in your parameters. You have only item style.
You should write them so:
 ["|De Groese Til","", , , , , "0", , , ],  ["|De Supermarkt","", , , , , "0", , , ],


Q: JavaScript Tree Menu supports keyboard navigation eg. CTRL+F2 to activate menu.

Why does Deluxe Tabs not have the same feature?

I would like to use both java script navigation menu systems on the same page, and both need to have keyboard navigation for accessibility reasons.

A: Unfortunately it is really so, Javascript/DHTML Tree and Deluxe Tabs doesn'thave such a feature now.

We'll try to add this feature in the next versions of the java script navigation menu.



Q: In deluxe tuner, on a horizontal dropdown menu, how I make sure long menu items can wrap into 2 lines? Losing my mind trying to figure this out.

For example...

Instead of.. International Music X Home Decoration X Books..... I want to to do:

International X Home X Books

Music Decoration

A: You should set the following parameter:

  var noWrap=0;

Or use standard <br> tags inside item's text:

["International Music X Home<br>Decoration X Books","", "", "", "", "", "0", "0", "", "", "", ],

Try that.

Q: I would like, that not only the text is represented differently when dhtml nav menu item is expanded, also the Icon separates before it at the side where I am.

iconarrs.gif is not right
iconarrs_aktiv.gif is right

How do I solve that?

A: You should set arrow for expanded state
